The 1970s Lane Staccato china cabinet captures the bold geometry and artistic craftsmanship that define the Brutalist design movement. With its sculptural block patterns and strong architectural presence, this cabinet stands as both functional furniture and a striking statement of mid-century modern artistry. The intricate raised detailing across the doors reflects Lane’s signature approach to texture and depth, bringing an unmistakable sense of dimension and craftsmanship to the design.

The upper display section features glass doors and shelving, ideal for showcasing collections or dinnerware, while the lower cabinet offers practical storage with wide drawers and side compartments. The contrast of glass and wood, paired with the rhythmic, grid-like carvings, makes this cabinet a centerpiece in any dining room or living space seeking character and presence.

This cabinet can be purchased “vintage as-pictured” — professionally cleaned and lightly touched up to preserve its original patina — or “vintage restored,” where it will receive a full refinishing treatment to bring out the depth and richness of the wood. Both options ensure this stunning example of Lane’s Staccato line continues to embody the timeless strength and artistry of mid-century Brutalist design.
