This 1960s Kent Coffey Perspecta highboy dresser is one of the most recognizable and sought-after designs of the mid century modern era. Crafted in warm walnut, the dresser features the iconic carved drawer fronts that define the Perspecta line, creating a sculptural geometric pattern across the upper drawers. The clean case design, gently tapered legs, and rich walnut grain give the piece a refined architectural presence while still feeling warm and timeless.
The dresser offers a practical and versatile storage layout with three smaller upper drawers above three spacious full-width lower drawers. Sculpted drawer fronts are paired with original hardware, while the walnut grain flows beautifully across the larger drawer faces. From every angle, the craftsmanship and proportions reflect the elevated design language Kent Coffey became known for during the 1960s. The compact highboy form also makes it ideal for bedrooms where vertical storage is desired without overwhelming the space.
This dresser is in vintage as-pictured condition, showing wear consistent with age and use including surface wear, finish inconsistencies, and minor imperfections throughout. These details contribute to the original vintage character and appeal for collectors and buyers who appreciate authentic mid century modern furniture in its current condition. For those looking for a fully refinished piece, we also offer a restored option. Restoration includes a complete professional refinishing process with sanding, staining, glazing, toning, and lacquering, along with functional adjustments to ensure drawers operate smoothly and the dresser is ready for everyday use.
