★★★★★“Spend the extra to get it refurbished!”Dustin, Etsy review

This Jens Risom executive desk from the 1960s is a refined example of mid-century American modernism, crafted in richly grained walnut. The freestanding silhouette pairs a generous floating top with two banks of drawers and an open kneehole. Sculpted recessed pulls read as dark accents against the warm wood, a signature Risom detail.  The top is a walnut look laminate surface built to last.

The left pedestal holds two drawers, a shallow top drawer with a lock keyhole and a deeper file drawer below.  The right pedestal holds three stacked drawers. Each drawer features the same low-profile sculpted pull set into the front. The desk rests on tapered square legs in matching walnut, and the top carries a clean raised lip along the back edge.

This desk is in vintage as-pictured condition, showing wear consistent with age and use. These characteristics appeal to those who appreciate the original character and history of a vintage piece. For those seeking a fully refreshed look, we also offer a restored option. Restoration includes a full professional refinishing process involving sanding, staining, glazing, toning, and lacquering, along with functional adjustments to ensure long-term durability and a smooth, even finish.
