★★★★★“Spend the extra to get it refurbished!”Dustin, Etsy review

This 1960s Jens Risom double pedestal executive desk reflects the understated modernism that defined Risom's work. Built in walnut, the desk shows warm grain across a broad rectangular top and a clean, business like form. Slim curved aluminum pulls run across the drawer fronts, adding a quiet metallic accent against the wood.

The two pedestals provide generous storage. One side holds a stack of three drawers, while the other pairs a shallow drawer over a deep file drawer, with the open kneehole between them. The expansive top offers plenty of room to work, and because the back is fully finished the desk can float in the center of a room rather than sit against a wall. It rests on round tapering legs that keep the substantial case feeling light.

This desk is in vintage as-pictured condition, showing wear consistent with age and use including surface wear, finish inconsistencies, and minor imperfections throughout. These characteristics contribute to the original vintage appeal and authenticity that many collectors appreciate. For those looking for a fully refinished example, we also offer a restored option. Restoration includes a complete professional refinishing process with sanding, staining, glazing, toning, and lacquering, along with functional adjustments to ensure all drawers operate smoothly and the desk is ready for everyday use.
