★★★★★“Spend the extra to get it refurbished!”Dustin, Etsy review

This Founders Furniture lowboy dresser pairs warm walnut with chrome in the sleek, softened geometry the maker was working in during this period. The case is long and low with rounded outer corners that carry the walnut around in a continuous curve, so the ends read as soft verticals against the flat run of the front. The walnut is left almost entirely unadorned, with broad book matched figure moving across the drawer fronts and end doors, and the only interruption comes from the slim upright chrome pulls set in pairs. A recessed plinth base runs underneath, letting the case appear to float just above the floor.

Storage is generous and well divided for a bedroom. Four wide drawers run through the center of the case, deep enough for folded clothing and sweaters, and a cabinet door at each end opens to reveal two more drawers along with open shelf space. That combination gives you flat storage where you want it and enclosed, out of sight storage at the ends, which makes the dresser useful as a bedroom piece or as a long credenza in a living room. The chrome pulls are sized small enough that they never compete with the walnut.

This lowboy dresser is in vintage as-pictured condition, showing wear consistent with age and use including surface wear, finish inconsistencies, and minor imperfections throughout. These characteristics contribute to the original vintage appeal and authenticity that many collectors appreciate. For those looking for a fully refinished example, we also offer a restored option. Restoration includes a complete professional refinishing process with sanding, staining, glazing, toning, and lacquering, along with functional adjustments to ensure all drawers and doors operate smoothly and the dresser is ready for everyday use.
