This 1960s Broyhill Sculptra lowboy dresser shows the carved relief work that gives the Premier line its name. At the center of the case, a pair of doors is cut with tall nested rectangles in raised relief, three panels wide, so the middle of the dresser reads almost like a piece of architectural paneling set between two banks of plain walnut drawers. Slim oval metal pulls sit centered and recessed on each drawer, a low gallery lip runs along the back of the top, and the case is raised on tapered legs joined by a curved stretcher that sweeps beneath the front.
Storage is divided into nine drawers in all. Three drawers run down each side, and the carved center doors open to reveal three more interior drawers, keeping smaller items out of sight while the outer drawers handle folded clothing. The long, low proportions make the dresser a natural fit along a bedroom wall under a mirror or television, and it works just as well as a credenza in a dining or living room. It retains its original Sculptra by Broyhill Premier label inside a drawer.
This lowboy dresser is in vintage as-pictured condition, showing wear consistent with age and use including surface wear, finish inconsistencies, and minor imperfections throughout. Restored:
Selecting the restored option includes our full professional refinishing process. Once selected, the piece is transported to our workshop, where we address surface damage like lacquer failure, chips, water marks, and deep scratches. Our team sands, stains, and seals each surface where appropriate, restoring the finish while preserving the character of the original design. We also carefully adjust doors, drawers, and hardware to ensure smooth operation and reliable function. The result is a fully restored vintage furniture piece, ready for daily use and built to last for decades to come.
