★★★★★“Spend the extra to get it refurbished!”Dustin, Etsy review

A striking pair of 1960s Mid-Century Modern Lane “Acclaim” end tables designed by André Bus, these tables showcase the clean geometry and subtle craftsmanship that made this line one of Lane’s most celebrated. The tops feature the signature Acclaim dovetail inlay along the perimeter, executed in contrasting woods and framed by softly rounded edges that give the pieces a refined, almost architectural presence. Raised on tapered legs with blacked metal caps, each table includes a lower shelf that adds both visual lightness and practical storage, making them as functional as they are sculptural.

The warm walnut finish highlights the natural grain throughout, while the thoughtfully proportioned silhouette allows these tables to work beautifully beside a sofa, between lounge chairs, or flanking a bed. The stretcher detail beneath the tabletop adds an elegant layer of structure, echoing the disciplined, Japanese-influenced lines that André Bus was known for. Together, this pair reads as cohesive yet versatile—distinctly vintage, but still effortlessly at home in contemporary interiors.

Offered in two condition options. As-is: vintage original condition with typical wear consistent with age and use, including light surface marks, edge wear, and minor finish imperfections that reflect decades of honest use. Restored: fully refinished—carefully sanded, professionally stained, and sealed in a durable lacquer to preserve the original character while delivering a refreshed, even finish and long-term protection.

Condition

As pictured: cleaned, with drawers, doors and structure in working order. The original finish and its wear are left as they are.

Restored: fully refinished in our New Jersey workshop. The old finish is removed, chips and scratches are repaired, and the piece is sanded, stained, glazed, toned and lacquered by hand, with drawers, doors and hardware adjusted to run smoothly. Most restorations take 4 to 8 weeks before shipping. Some are quicker and some take longer, depending on the piece, and we'll give you an estimate when you order. See our restoration process
