This pair of 1960s Young Manufacturing nightstands reflects the company’s signature take on mid-century modern design, blending clean lines with decorative sculptural details. The carved, scroll-like drawer pulls introduce a touch of Spanish Revival influence, while the ornate raised medallions on the sliding doors give the nightstands a distinctive, pattern-driven look that leans into the era’s emerging Brutalist tendencies. The warm walnut finish and stepped plinth bases ground the design, giving each nightstand a solid, architectural presence.

Functionally, the layout is both practical and visually balanced: a set of two deep drawers sits beside a sliding door that opens to a spacious interior bay for additional storage. The mix of open and concealed compartments makes these nightstands versatile for modern living, while the bold carved elements add character and texture. They’re a great fit for collectors who appreciate mid-century modern pieces with a bit more personality and decorative interest.
