This 1960s Young Manufacturing lowboy dresser is a standout example of the brand's signature concave design, rendered in walnut across an impressively wide, horizontal form. The case rests low to the ground on splayed tapered legs with a sculpted arched base, giving it a grounded, architectural presence characteristic of American mid century modern at its most refined.
Nine drawers are arranged in three columns of three, each featuring the brand's distinctive concave front profile that creates a continuous sculpted surface across the full 80-inch width of the piece. The solid case construction and warm walnut grain are consistent throughout, with no applied hardware visible on the drawer faces.
These dressers are in vintage as-pictured condition, showing wear consistent with age and use. These characteristics appeal to those who appreciate the original character and history of a vintage piece. For those seeking a fully refreshed look, we also offer a restored option. Restoration includes a full professional refinishing process involving sanding, staining, glazing, toning, and lacquering, along with functional adjustments to ensure long-term durability and a smooth, even finish.
