This Young Manufacturing two-piece china cabinet from the 1960s is a beautifully balanced example of mid century modern casework, combining a sculptural buffet base with a light, architectural hutch. The upper cabinet features framed glass doors and side panels that allow light to pass through, highlighting the warm wood tones and clean interior shelving. The proportions and subtle detailing give the piece an elegant presence without feeling heavy, making it equally suited for dining room display or statement storage in a living space.
The lower buffet is defined by its distinctive concave top, which gently curves inward at the center and adds a soft, sculptural line to the overall form. This flowing profile is echoed by the sculpted drawer and door pulls, which project slightly from the surface and are shaped for both visual interest and comfortable grip. Tapered legs and a shaped apron complete the mid century silhouette, while the natural grain visible throughout adds warmth and depth, as shown in the photos.
This cabinet is offered in two condition options: Vintage As Pictured or Vintage Restored. The Vintage As Pictured option retains its original finish and character, showing light, age-appropriate wear consistent with a well-kept piece from the 1960s. The Vintage Restored option includes a full professional restoration by our team, with careful surface preparation, refinishing, and detailing to bring the wood back to a like-new appearance while preserving the original design and craftsmanship.
