Iconic and extremely stylish genuine Wassily chairs, originally designed by Marcel Breuer in 1925 at Bauhaus. The quality is evident, these are much better than the modern reproductions often seen on the market. The black leather seat, back and arm straps are extremely thick and well made, these chairs are remarkably comfortable. They are in excellent condition for their age, the leather has acquired a gorgeous patina and has very little damage, just some light surface wear here and there. The thread on the stitching on the front of the arms has come away a little in places, this doesn’t affect the strength or usability in any way. The tubular steel frames are clean and sound, also with just some extremely minor surface wear.
