This 1960s vintage mid century modern United Furniture Diamond Front highboy dresser features a bold, architectural silhouette defined by its sculpted diamond-pattern drawer fronts and clean, rectilinear case. The warm wood tone and dramatic geometric faceting create depth and movement across the facade, giving the dresser a strong Brutalist-leaning presence while remaining firmly rooted in classic mid century modern design. The tapered legs lift the piece visually and add to its balanced, well-proportioned stance.
The dresser is constructed in two separate stacked sections, a stepped highboy configuration typical of the period. The upper cabinet contains six drawers arranged in two vertical banks of three, each showcasing the distinctive diamond-front detailing seen throughout the piece. Below, the lower cabinet features two wide, oversized drawers that provide generous storage and anchor the design visually. The drawer layout is both functional and intentional, offering a mix of smaller and larger storage while maintaining a cohesive, sculptural look from every angle.
This piece is available either vintage as pictured or vintage restored. As pictured pieces are thoroughly cleaned and receive minor touch-ups while preserving original finishes and character. The vintage restored option includes a full professional restoration, bringing the dresser back to its best condition while honoring its original design and craftsmanship.
