This Canadian-made brutalist lowboy dresser by Tobago Furniture is a stellar example of the raw and expressive designs of the 1970s, evoking the minimalist yet impactful style reminiscent of Milo Baughman's creations. Its construction features a harmonious blend of oak and rosewood, creating a robust yet refined aesthetic. Chrome accents provide a modern touch to the piece, subtly highlighting its geometric lines and rich textures.
The dresser offers ample storage, with one shelf concealed behind each door on the sides, and a set of three drawers nestled centrally for easy organization. Its thoughtful design ensures that it is not only a statement piece but also a highly functional addition to any space.
Resting on a solid plinth base, this lowboy dresser stands as a testament to the era's bold design choices. It promises to be the centerpiece of any mid-century modern or contemporary interior, bringing with it a sense of drama and a touch of vintage craftsmanship that is both unique and timeless.
