★★★★★“Spend the extra to get it refurbished!”Dustin, Etsy review

This 1960s Mid Century Modern lowboy dresser by Thomasville is a bold, sculptural example of American design from the era, distinguished by its richly figured burl wood façade and deeply carved arched panels that create a rhythmic, dimensional front. The long, low profile is grounded by tapered legs and a clean rectilinear case, while the dramatic repeating arches across the drawer fronts give the piece a near architectural presence. The warm, mottled burl surface and precise joinery seen throughout speak to the craftsmanship Thomasville was known for during this period, balancing elegance with visual weight.

Designed for both form and function, this dresser features nine drawers arranged across the front, offering generous, practical storage while maintaining a streamlined silhouette. The layered relief of the sculpted drawer faces creates depth and movement from every angle, contrasting beautifully with the smooth top surface and solid side panels. Overall, the proportions feel substantial yet refined, making this piece equally suited as a statement in a minimalist interior or as a focal point in a more layered mid century setting.

As pictured, this dresser is in vintage original condition and shows honest signs of age and use, including surface wear, light scratches, and patina consistent with its history, all visible in the photos. Prior to shipping, it will receive a routine cleaning and light touch-ups to help it present at its best while preserving its original character. Alternatively, the dresser can be vintage restored upon request, which would include a full professional refinish—sanded down, stained, and lacquered—for a refreshed, more uniform appearance.
