This 1960s vintage Mid Century Modern highboy dresser by Specialty Woodcraft Inc. showcases the brand’s sculptural approach to functional storage. The case features a subtly concave top that softens the vertical profile, paired with boldly shaped drawer fronts that create a rhythmic, architectural façade. Carved solid wood pulls echo the organic lines of the drawers, while the warm wood tones and tapered legs give the dresser a refined yet approachable presence.
The upper cabinet doors open to reveal generous interior storage, complemented by smoothly operating drawers below that provide excellent capacity for clothing or linens. The thoughtful mix of doors and drawers makes this highboy especially versatile, offering both concealed and easy-access storage. Every angle reflects careful craftsmanship, from the balanced proportions to the distinctive curved detailing that sets this design apart from more conventional case pieces.
This dresser is available either as pictured or fully restored. The as-pictured option retains its original vintage character, showing light wear consistent with age and use. The restored option includes a complete professional refinishing process to refresh the finish while preserving the integrity of the original design, along with adjustments to drawers and doors to ensure proper function.
