R-Way Furniture Company, headquartered in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, was one of the Midwest's prominent producers of mid-century modern residential furniture through the 1950s and 1960s. The company distinguished itself by offering well-constructed, design-forward pieces at accessible price points, making the clean lines and functional elegance of the MCM aesthetic available to a broad American market. R-Way's bedroom and storage furniture in particular is prized today for its confident proportions and high-quality construction.

This triple dresser is an exemplary expression of R-Way's design vocabulary at its most refined. The case presents a wide, low-slung profile with a raised upper tier housing six small drawers arranged in two symmetrical rows — fitted with small round pulls — above a lower body divided into three zones. Two flanking sections each accommodate a pair of large, deep drawers fitted with elongated brass bar pulls, while the center section features a distinctive woven cane panel that adds warmth and visual texture to the otherwise clean case. Throughout, the piece rests on four slender, sharply tapered legs that splay slightly outward and terminate in elegant brass ferrules — a signature detail that captures the precise, decorative spirit of 1960s American modernism.

The case is constructed in walnut, displaying the warm reddish-brown tones and subtle figuring characteristic of this prized American hardwood. The combination of solid walnut and walnut veneer provides both structural integrity and the rich, unified grain pattern that defines the piece's refined surface.

This dresser is in vintage as-pictured condition, showing wear consistent with age and use. These characteristics appeal to those who appreciate the original patina and history of a vintage piece. For those seeking a fully refreshed look, we also offer a restored option. Restoration includes a full professional refinishing process involving sanding, staining, glazing, toning, and lacquering, along with functional adjustments to ensure long-term durability and a smooth, even finish.
