This 1970s Danish Modern highboy dresser by Nordisk Andels-Eksport of Denmark presents a taller, more vertical interpretation of classic Scandinavian storage, balancing quiet elegance with practical function. As shown in the photos, the case is cleanly composed with straight edges, subtly softened corners, and a luminous teak finish that highlights gentle, organic grain variation across the front and sides. The overall form feels disciplined and architectural yet warm, with the natural character of the wood lending depth and softness to its structured silhouette.

The highboy contains a total of eleven drawers: eight on the left side, including two smaller drawers in the top row above six full-width drawers stacked below. On the right, a single cabinet door opens to reveal three additional drawers at the top of the compartment, with two open shelves beneath for flexible storage. The flush drawer fronts and consistent horizontal lines create a rhythmic, layered effect across the facade, while the solid side panels and substantial top surface give the piece a grounded, refined presence that reads as purposeful and well crafted from every angle.

As pictured, this dresser is in vintage original condition and shows honest signs of age and use, including light surface wear, minor scratches, and patina consistent with its history, all visible in the photos. Prior to shipping, it will receive a routine cleaning and light touch-ups to help it present at its best while preserving its original character. Alternatively, the dresser can be fully restored upon request, which would include professional refinishing of the teak surfaces and careful detailing of all drawer fronts and interior shelving for a refreshed, more uniform appearance.
