Nordisk Andels-Eksport Vintage Danish Mid Century Modern Lowboy Teak Dresser c. 1970s

This 1970s Danish Modern lowboy dresser by Nordisk Andels-Eksport of Denmark exemplifies the quiet precision and warmth of Scandinavian design. As shown in the photos, the case is beautifully proportioned with a long, low profile, gently rounded corners, and a rich teak finish that highlights subtle grain variation across the surface. The front is defined by clean horizontal drawer lines and minimal detailing, allowing the natural beauty of the wood to take center stage while maintaining a refined, architectural presence.

The dresser features ten drawers in total, with three smaller drawers along the top paired with seven full-width drawers, offering ample, practical storage while preserving a sleek and balanced silhouette. The flush drawer fronts and slim gaps between each tier create a rhythmic, layered effect when viewed head-on, while the solid side panels and thick top surface give the piece a grounded, substantial feel. From every angle in the photos, the dresser reads as purposeful, well-crafted, and unmistakably Danish in its restraint and craftsmanship.

As pictured, this dresser is in vintage original condition and shows honest signs of age and use, including light surface wear, minor scratches, and patina consistent with its history, all visible in the photos. Prior to shipping, it will receive a routine cleaning and light touch-ups to help it present at its best while preserving its original character. Alternatively, the dresser can be fully restored upon request, which would include professional refinishing of the teak surfaces and careful detailing of all drawer fronts for a refreshed, more uniform appearance.
