Embrace the essence of the 1950s with this classic typewriter desk, attributed to the visionary design of George Nelson for Herman Miller. A true relic of mid-century modern office furniture, this desk combines the industrial strength of a black metal frame with the organic warmth of a walnut desktop and drawer assembly, creating a piece that is both robust and aesthetically pleasing.

This desk features three walnut drawers, each accented with an oversized, recessed circular metal knob that not only enhances functionality but also serves as a striking design element. The clean lines of the desk are complemented by the elegant simplicity of its form, a hallmark of George Nelson's approach to design. The spacious desktop provides ample room for writing, reading, or housing a vintage typewriter as a nod to its original purpose.

Prior to delivery, this desk will undergo a meticulous refinishing process, ensuring that its beauty and luster are restored to their original glory. Whether used as a functional workspace or as a statement piece in your home office, this George Nelson attributed desk for Herman Miller is a timeless treasure that marries history with contemporary living.
