Crafted in 1963 by Freed-Waran Inc. as part of the Granada collection, this dresser is a standout example of mid-century Spanish Revival design. The piece's substantial, solid construction is elegantly masked behind four beautifully detailed doors, each adorned with Baroque-inspired knockers, showcasing traditional elegance and craftsmanship. The simplicity of the wood side panels directs attention to the intricate designs on the doors, highlighting the dresser's sophisticated front.

Inside, the dresser houses nine drawers, offering ample storage space. Each drawer features a discreet cut-out at the top for easy opening, maintaining the sleek and seamless exterior. This design choice contrasts with the elaborate door fronts, blending functionality with aesthetic appeal. The drawers are crafted with dovetail joints, underscoring the durability and quality of construction characteristic of the era and maker.

This Freed-Waran Inc. dresser combines the practicality needed in modern homes with the ornate design of the past, making it not just a piece of furniture, but a centerpiece that enhances the beauty and elegance of any room. Whether placed in a bedroom, living room, or dining area, it serves as a showcase item that captures attention and complements the surrounding decor. Its blend of robust construction and elegant detailing offers both functionality and style, making it a cherished addition to any interior seeking the charm of mid-century Spanish Revival design.
