This 1960s Broyhill Saga china cabinet is a standout example of mid century modern design, blending clean architectural lines with subtle decorative detail. Crafted in warm walnut, the two-piece form features a striking upper display with four framed glass doors, allowing for a full view of the interior shelving. Signature Saga styling is evident in the delicate carved accents and understated geometric detailing, giving the cabinet just enough visual interest while keeping the overall look refined and timeless.
The lower cabinet offers a balanced mix of storage and function, with three central drawers flanked by cabinet doors on either side. The drawers are finished with original sculpted pulls, while the cabinet doors echo the vertical wood grain and carved motifs seen above. Tapered legs lift the piece, adding to its light, elevated profile. Together, the upper and lower sections create a substantial yet elegant presence, ideal for displaying glassware, ceramics, or a curated collection while keeping everyday storage neatly concealed.
This china cabinet is in vintage as-pictured condition, showing wear consistent with age and use including visible surface marks, finish wear, and areas of discoloration. These characteristics appeal to those who appreciate the original character and history of a vintage piece. For those seeking a fully refreshed look, we also offer a restored option. Restoration includes a full professional refinishing process involving sanding, staining, glazing, toning, and lacquering, along with functional adjustments to drawers and doors to ensure smooth operation and long-term durability.
