This 1960s Broyhill Brasilia china cabinet comes from one of the most recognizable lines in American mid century modern design, and the collection's signature arch motif is on full display across the lower doors. Built in walnut, the cabinet pairs warm, even grain with the sculpted arch panels that Brasilia drew from the modernist architecture of Brazil's capital city. The upper section is fronted with two tall glass doors framed in slim walnut, giving the piece a light, architectural presence.
The cabinet is built in two stacking sections. The glazed upper hutch holds a set of interior shelves for displaying glassware and china, while a pair of shallow drawers sits just below for flatware and small items. The lower base provides enclosed cabinet storage behind the arched doors, with room for linens and serving pieces. Raised on splayed legs joined by a slender stretcher, the petite footprint suits dining rooms where a full size cabinet would feel oversized.
This china cabinet is in vintage as-pictured condition, showing wear consistent with age and use including surface wear, finish inconsistencies, and minor imperfections throughout. These characteristics contribute to the original vintage appeal and authenticity that many collectors appreciate. For those looking for a fully refinished example, we also offer a restored option. Restoration includes a complete professional refinishing process with sanding, staining, glazing, toning, and lacquering, along with functional adjustments to ensure all drawers and doors operate smoothly and the cabinet is ready for everyday use.
