This Broyhill Brasilia two-piece china cabinet from the 1960s is one of the most distinctive case pieces in the line, carrying the same carved medallion detailing and walnut construction that defined the Brasilia collection throughout the decade. The set is composed of a lower base buffet and an upper hutch top, functioning together as a full china cabinet that anchors a dining room with real visual weight and period character. Brass hardware throughout adds warmth to the walnut grain and is consistent with the original factory specification.
The base buffet measures 31 inches tall, 54 inches wide, and 19 inches deep, providing cabinet and drawer storage behind Brasilia-carved doors. The hutch top measures 49 inches tall, 53.75 inches wide, and 13 inches deep, with glass-panel display doors that allow full visibility to the interior. Assembled, the two pieces stand 80 inches tall and 54 inches wide overall, making this a substantial presence in any dining or living room.
This piece is in vintage as-pictured condition, showing wear consistent with age and use. These characteristics appeal to those who appreciate the original character and history of a vintage piece. For those seeking a fully refreshed look, we also offer a restored option. Restoration includes a full professional refinishing process involving sanding, staining, glazing, toning, and lacquering, along with functional adjustments to ensure long-term durability and a smooth, even finish.
