This Broyhill Brasilia II extension dining table from the 1960s is a clean, well-proportioned example from the second iteration of Broyhill's most celebrated line, built in solid walnut with the restrained carved detailing and tapered leg profile that gave the Brasilia II its lasting collector appeal. The table includes two original 18-inch leaves, allowing it to scale comfortably from an intimate setting to a large formal dining configuration.
Without leaves, the table measures 30.25 inches tall, 62 inches wide, and 42.125 inches deep. Adding one 18-inch leaf extends the width to 80 inches; adding both brings the full extension to 98 inches wide, accommodating a generous dining set with ease. The walnut construction is solid and well-joined throughout, with a standard 30-inch-plus table height compatible with most dining chairs.
This table is in vintage as-pictured condition, showing wear consistent with age and use. These characteristics appeal to those who appreciate the original character and history of a vintage piece. For those seeking a fully refreshed look, we also offer a restored option. Restoration includes a full professional refinishing process involving sanding, staining, glazing, toning, and lacquering, along with functional adjustments to ensure long-term durability and a smooth, even finish.
