This sculptural Mid Century Modern lamp from the 1960s features a striking open “birdcage” form crafted from warm brass rods anchored to a round walnut base. At the center, three staggered acrylic diffusers float like lanterns, giving off a soft, ambient glow when lit. The interplay of materials—metal, wood, and acrylic—captures the era’s fascination with contrasting textures and geometric balance.

The lamp’s elliptical frame and suspended cylinders make it a bold yet elegant statement piece, equally suited for a console, side table, or entryway. Its dimensional silhouette draws attention from every angle, offering a warm visual rhythm even when turned off. A true conversation piece for collectors and lovers of Atomic Age design.
