This 1960s vintage mid century modern pair of nightstands by American of Martinsville from the Dania Collection reflects the brand’s refined, architectural approach to bedroom furniture. Crafted in warm-toned wood, each nightstand features clean lines, subtle geometric grain patterns across the drawer fronts, and slender tapered legs connected by a stretcher base that gives the design an airy yet grounded presence. The brass and walnut drawer pulls add a restrained decorative element that complements the wood without overpowering it.

Each nightstand offers two smoothly operating drawers with generous interior storage, well-suited for bedside essentials. The proportions are balanced and versatile, with a slightly wider stance that works comfortably alongside both low-profile mid century beds and more contemporary frames. As shown in the photos, the pair matches beautifully while retaining natural variations in grain and tone that highlight their vintage character and craftsmanship.

These nightstands are available as pictured or can be professionally restored. In as-pictured condition, they show visible wear consistent with age and use, including surface wear and finish variation, particularly on the tops, which is reflected in the price. Restoration is available for those seeking a refreshed finish, with careful attention to preserving the original design, wood character, and hardware while bringing the nightstands back to a clean, polished presentation.
