This 1960s vintage mid century modern highboy dresser by American of Martinsville from the Dania Collection features a bold, sculptural presence defined by its distinctive architectural front. The upper cabinet section showcases four hinged doors with elongated brass and walnut pulls and beautifully matched wood grain, while the lower portion is composed of dramatic horizontal slatted drawer fronts that give the dresser depth and movement. Raised on tapered legs with brass stretchers, the proportions feel substantial yet elevated, a hallmark of American of Martinsville’s refined mid century designs.

Behind the upper doors, the dresser opens to reveal a thoughtfully designed interior with multiple drawers arranged in a clean, symmetrical layout, offering generous and well-organized storage. The lower drawers provide additional capacity, balancing form and function in a way that feels both practical and visually striking. Warm wood tones, subtle grain variation, and solid construction speak to the quality craftsmanship of the Dania Collection, making this highboy a strong focal point in a bedroom or dressing space.

This dresser is available as-pictured or with a full professional restoration. As-pictured, it retains its original vintage condition with visible wear consistent with age and use, preserving its authentic character. With restoration, the piece will be fully refinished, the finish refreshed, drawers adjusted for smooth operation, and details carefully addressed to highlight the design while maintaining its mid century integrity.
