The rounded shell wraps around the sitter in one continuous curve, upholstered in a vintage gold and brown patterned fabric with a loose seat cushion, and it rests on a four prong metal swivel base that lets the chair turn freely.

With a low 14 inch seat and a deep, enveloping shell, the chair is made for relaxing, whether in a living room corner, a reading nook, or a bedroom. Its compact footprint fits smaller spaces, and the original Overman AB Tranås Sweden label is still attached underneath.

This chair is in vintage as-pictured condition, showing wear consistent with age and use including fabric wear, minor imperfections to the base, and signs of age throughout. These characteristics contribute to the original vintage appeal and authenticity that many collectors appreciate. For those looking for a refreshed example, we also offer a restored option. Restoration includes reupholstering the chair in fabric provided by the customer, along with cleaning and functional adjustments so the swivel turns smoothly and the chair is ready for everyday use.

SKU: MCM-0682

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0627/5933/8183/files/download_b048abd0-2a8c-48b0-a9ac-4c14816cfb74.jpg?v=1792857051
https://modcitymad.com/products/carl-eric-klote-for-overman-sweden-vintage-mid-century-modern-pod-swivel-chair-c-1960s
